Meet The Team

Angela Simmons, CFA

Owner/Manager

For 30 years, Angela Simmons has been professionally managing financial assets for high net worth individuals and families.

She spent 28 years at Everett Harris & Co., a Los Angeles based registered investment advisor, managing stocks and bonds as a financial analyst and portfolio manager.

She retired as a partner of the firm in December 2020 in order to focus on ABS Legacy Partners LLC, her own firm dedicated to incorporating the broader needs of financial management with legacy plans, philanthropy and personal history. She, first and foremost, believes in putting meaning into your money.

While Simmons managed public stocks and bonds for her RIA clients, Angela’s father sold his successful, privately-held business to a publicly-traded company. Angela, and her investment colleagues, assumed the management of her family’s substantial assets, but her family needed help beyond investment management. Angela spearheaded a separate company dedicated to managing trusts, family partnerships, real property, and charitable foundations. She also organized a team to assist with bill payments, tax facilitation, and private investments.

Today, ABS Legacy Partners combines these services through several digital platforms allowing you to view communications, payments, legacy planning and your financial holdings in a central place overseen by a company that has been built from the ground up to address the needs of successful individuals and families like yours. We’ve created partnerships with service providers focused on family-office-designed software solutions. We provide the digital support you need to keep track of your planning and business ventures so that you don’t have to start from scratch.

Our goal is to assist you with transparency, simplicity and conscientiousness so you can experience true peace of mind when it comes to your assets, legacy planning, and philanthropy. We want you to live the life of your choosing and help foster your well-being with the hope that we all can contribute positively to our world and our community.

Angela holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the following: the Executive Committee of the Family Office Counsel, the Carolinas Family Office Forum, the Duke Women’s Impact Network, the James B. Duke Society at Duke University, and she is a board member for the Policy and Taxation Group and several private foundations.

Noah Hannon

Chief Operating Officer

Noah K. Hannon joined ABS Legacy Partners as an Asset Management Associate in February 2023. After graduating from Appalachian State University, Noah’s career began in the Leadership Development Program at Truist.

After completing the program, Noah was a Banking Officer and Credit Portfolio Manager for Truist Wealth. He managed a portfolio of advanced credit delivery products for the Truist High Net Worth Specialty Wealth Groups including The Medical Specialty Group and Sports and Entertainment Group, serving corporate and private clients.

Noah attended Appalachian State University and was a four-year Division 1 starter and Captain for Appalachian State University football team. He earned a two-time first-team All-Sun Belt Conference offensive lineman as a center and started all 52 games that App State played following his 2017 enrollment. He joins two other players as the only App State offensive or defensive players with 50 consecutive starts. He was Preseason All-American (honorable mention choice after three picks) by PFF College. Noah also found time to be President of Student Athlete Advisory Council and a Student Athlete Representative on the University Athletics Council.

In Noah’s words, “I enjoy leading from the front and assuming all responsibilities and challenges that come with engaging a group of people that come from all walks of life to achieve a goal. I am looking forward to building a solid foundation to support my career in the financial services industry.”

Noah believes in giving back to his hometown, his alma mater, and those less fortunate. He participated in mission trips to Nicaragua and Jamaica. He is founder and CEO of Beyond The Jersey, a non-profit focused on the success of the next generation of student athletes in Greer, SC. Currently he serves as Vice President of 3333 Collective, an organization which generates funding to match student-athletes to NIL opportunities. He is also Co-Founder and President of Neer2Home, a community of professional alumni from his alma matter. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife Julia and two dogs.

Noah is currently pursuing his CFP certification at NC State University.
